March is here, and there\u2019s so much happening! \u00a0The luck of the Irish descends upon us, and balls are flying as basketball\u2019s March Madness begins. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Played mostly during March, this season is known informally as March Madness or the Big Dance, and has become one of the most famous annual sporting events in the United States. \u00a0It includes the top teams from 32 divisions, plus 36 other teams who are awarded spots in the brackets. \u00a0Teams, seeded by rank, proceed through a single game elimination bracket beginning with 64 teams, to a “Sweet Sixteen”, and eventually, a Final Four. The Final Four is usually played during the first weekend of April, when these four teams, one from each region (East, South, Midwest, and West), compete for the national championship.
