I know that the holiday season is typically when we think about getting gifts for others, but my birthday falls right in the middle of it, too. I’m happy with whatever gifts I’m lucky enough to receive, but it’s always fun when I get a particularly unique gift.

These days, more and more women’s shirts are designed to be worn with cufflinks, but people don’t always consider giving the women in their lives cufflinks as gifts. I personally love these designer Mother of Pearl Honeycomb Cufflinks.

I already own some mother of pearl earrings, and find that they go with everything. If you’re unsure of how to choose cufflinks for a woman, going with something that matches some jewelry she already owns is a pretty safe bet, and makes them more personal. We’re in the midst of December, and 2008 is winding down. The end of the year brings a lot to mind, but to me, it comes down to two things: giving gifts to loved ones throughout the holiday season, and the New Year. As much as I am concerned with getting gifts for my friends and family, I also have the terrible habit of doing much of my shopping at the last minute!
